People who choose HR are often wired to help, but “help” does not always easily translate to traditional business value (i.e. economic profit or shareholder value). Over the past two decades, HR teams have been making the transition from order-taking helpers to strategic partners with the business. This journey has resulted in business value being expanded to include organizational health and leadership behavior. Today’s HR team members need to master the science and art of transforming performance problems into performance excellence. This is done through an organized method of thinking called "performance thinking." Underlying this method of thinking is a model called the "Six-Box Model of Performance Engineering." In this session, we'll examine the Six-Box Model and learn how to turn it into a powerful application for solving deeply embedded performance issues.
