Founded in 1984 as the Human Resources Association of North Iowa, we rebranded in 2026 as SHRM North Iowa to align with the SHRM Master Brand and reflect our shared values, mission, and goals; creating better workplaces and a better world.

We serve a growing network of members across North Iowa, connecting HR professionals at all career levels in manufacturing, service, staffing, and consulting.
